Each year Oceanview Gardens partners with local schools and community groups to grow beautiful poinsettias for Christmas fundraising.
In 2025 we were proud to supply poinsettias for organizations including AAU, Close Up, and the Ketchikan Music Department, helping them raise funds while offering their supporters a high-quality holiday plant grown right here in Southeast Alaska.
Our poinsettias are grown in our greenhouse in Wrangell, Alaska, where we carefully nurture them all summer and fall so they are full, vibrant, and ready for the holiday season.

Groups typically take pre-orders in the fall and receive their plants in late November or early December, just in time for the holidays.

Please contact us by May with an estimated quantity so we can reserve greenhouse space for your organization.

Planning for 2026
Because poinsettias must be planted and grown months in advance, we need estimated order quantities by May each year so we can grow enough plants for participating organizations.
